Privilege is the world's largest nightclub

Privilege is the world's largest nightclub

26th July 2007

Renowned as the clubbing capital of the world, Ibiza offers night owls a number of top clubs to choose from.

We pick our top three.

1.) Privilege Ibiza

Privilege is the world's largest nightclub - it literary takes your breath away when you enter the venue. The 25 metre-high ceiling allows the management to offer spectacular shows and gives enough space to house a huge pool inside. It's situated between Ibiza Town and San Antonio and the large windows offer gorgeous views over the island. Privilege, which holds the Guinness world record for the 'biggest club in the world', attracts clubbers from all over the planet. Celebrities such as Puff Daddy, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Jade Jagger and Madonna are regular visitors to the club. Privilege also hosts the amazing Manumission party on Friday nights. This, however, will set you back a cool 60 euros. Other nights vary between 20 euros and 50 euros. A bottle of beer will cost around 8 euros.

2.) Es Paradis

Es Paradis, located on the San Antonio waterfront, is Ibiza's second longest-running club after Pacha. Opened in 1975, Es Paradis attracts a predominantly British clubbing crowd. It offers night owls 10 bars, three dance floors, three private rooms and an exclusive VIP area. Es Paradis' white decor is extremely unique and has helped it to build a reputation as one of Ibiza's most famous venues. The club's trademark event, Fiesta del Agua, takes place on Saturday nights. This is when the dance floor gets transformed into a large pool thanks to club's numerous water fountains. If you like a soggy dance then this is the night for you. Entry will set you back between 25 euros and 40 euros, while a bottle of beer should cost no more than 5 euros - slightly cheaper than most other Ibiza clubs.

Space is considered by many as the finest nightclub on the planet. Located next to the Waterslide Park in Playa d'en Bossa, it is about five minutes away by taxi from Ibiza Town. Space offers a wide variety of music, from electro mayhem to techno to house grooves. Expect to pay between 30 euros and 60 euros for a Sunday night clubbing session, while entry on most other days costs about 35 euros. A bottle of beer will set you back around 8 euros.
